Korea JoongAng Daily reviews “Lynn Hershman Leeson: First Person Plural,” the artist’s first museum solo exhibition in Asia, now on view at the Seoul Museum of Art’s Seosomun Main Branch through Feb. 21, 2027. Reporter Lim Jeong-won frames the roughly 200-work survey around Roberta Breitmore, linking the 1970s persona to bukae, the Korean term for the alter egos people move between in everyday life. The review follows the exhibition from the early “Breathing Machines” through the telerobotic dolls Tillie and CybeRoberta, Korean-language versions of “Lorna,” “Agent Ruby” and “Deep Contact,” and the biotech work “Room No. 8.” It also notes a Seoul Art Cinema series of “Conceiving Ada,” “Teknolust” and “!Women Art Revolution…”
